Critical Mass

In San Francisco rijden een honderdtal fietsers mee met de Critical Mass San Francisco. Het is vandaag precies 23 jaar geleden dat de eerste Critical Mass fietstocht is gehouden. Het doel was om de aanwezigheid van de fietser in het verkeer onder aandacht te brengen. De rit worden nu iedere laatste vrijdag van de maand gehouden in steden over de hele wereld. Iedereen die wil kan zich aansluiten, de route wordt spontaan bedacht.

In San Francisco a hundred cyclists join the Critical Mass San Francisco. It is exactly 23 years ago today that the first Critical Mass bike ride was held. The goal was to bring the presence of the cyclist on the road under consideration. The drive will now be held every last Friday of the month in cities around the world. Anyone who wants can join. The route will spontaneously conceived.
