Het Zwitserse team IAM Cycling passeert de wielerliefhebbers. In Utrecht vindt met de presentatie van de renners het eerste officiële deel plaats van de Grand Depart. Op 4 juli start de Tour de France in Utrecht met een tijdrit. De dag daarna vertrekken de wielrenners vanuit de Domstad richting Zeeland. Het is voor het eerst dat de Tour in Utrecht start.

The Swiss team IAM cycling passes the fans. In Utrecht the riders present themselves as the first official moment of the Grand Depart . On July 4 the Tour de France starts in Utrecht with a time trial. The next day the riders depart from the cathedral city direction Zealand. It is the first time that the Tour starts in Utrecht.
